We offer diverse methods of settlements for performed services. The manner of settlement and the amount due depend, among others, on: the specificity of the line of business, the scale and degree of complexity of the commissioned case, arrangements regarding the contract’s completion dates, the number of lawyers involved in the case.
HOURLY PAYMENT SYSTEM
This system is usually adopted in one-time cases, towards clients unconnected to the law firm through a long-term legal servicing contract. In this system, the amount due depends on the amount of time dedicated to the execution of the task. The hourly rate is agreed upon individually with each client. The payment is based upon the report of performed services, which is sent to the client after the task has been performed, and in case of task execution prolonged in time, cyclically at agreed times.
BULK PAYMENT SYSTEM
In case of this type of payment, the amount due for a particular case is agreed upon with the client in advance and remains the same throughout the duration of the case regardless of the number of hours spent on task completion. This system is adopted in cases the duration of which and maximum time expenditure can be approximately estimated in advance. The bulk amount is usually the average of minimum and maximum time expenditure estimated for the task completion.
PAYMENT SYSTEM FOR ONGOING LEGAL SERVICING
The payment for ongoing legal servicing is established on a monthly flat rate basis for a specific limit of hours to be used in a given billing month. The services performed after the limit has been used up are paid for additionally, based on a fixed hourly rate. The payment is based upon a report of performed serviced /RWC/, which is sent to the client at the end of the month. The client can control the status of the usage of hours in order to proportion the orders through regular insight into the RWC opened for the current month. Within the scope of ongoing legal servicing, the client’s orders are performed as a priority. The client has the possibility to obtain other privileges resulting from the status of a high-frequency customer.
SUCCESS-BASED SYSTEM OF PAYMENT
With some types of order, especially regarding debt or damages collection, the Law Firm establishes the so-called success fee, the amount of which depends of the outcome of the case.
It is the intention of our company to meet the individual needs of each client. Therefore, it is possible to establish a mixed payment system, based on two or more of the abovementioned payment systems.
